As an FYI, I find the CH 4 x 4 switches are a little more snug to install, and even harder to change positions once you have installed. This is mainly because the catch mechanism on the CH 4 x 4 brand is larger than the Aironboard brand. With that being said, once you have installed the switches, functionality remains normal. Here is the bottom view with ch4x4 on the left and aironboard on the right.

Dumb question that's probably already been answered....it's the Smaller push switches correct?

One more question, does anyone know where I can find blanks for the unused switches? Not gonna spend 100 plus on switches all at once.

the quick internet search i just did resulted in each blank being about $7-10. at $20 for a switch, not worth it imo...

Alright I got tired of waiting for the lights to arrive and just installed the switch plates with my switches. Pretty easy to do, I took my time (about an hour), I really had no reason to rush.

First I removed the shift plate cover? used a flat head screwdriver along the edges and it popped right up

    20170407_184225_zpsoionmxoo_df82b65954465f71bbadf3cb022a22c847bc718b.jpg

Next I cut out the inside of the paper template, I intentionally cut it smaller because I did not want to cut the hole too big. I also did not want to cut anything else under the cover so I moved it back a little. Taped it up square and traced it.

    20170407_190921_zpsxo8idkcd_4fcba63b60fa1a46031f3f9f436fb8b1f8ce44fd.jpg

After that pretty straight forward. Cut it out, slowly made the square bigger with a dremel until it was a perfect fit. The really nice thing about this design is that the upper lip covers your hole. My cut square is not perfect looking but you would never know it.
