I'm sure he gets a lot of weird looks as people pull up/pass to see him. Haha, couldn't pay me to put that on my truck, but got a good chuckle out if it.

Cut and dry fit (with room for indoor/outdoor carpet) all the pieces for my bed/sleeping platform and it fits like a glove. Measure twice.....cut once!

Had my neighbor (250 lbs+) come over and we both laid on it....didn't even budge. Love the fact that this can be installed & removed in about a minute.

Ohhhh... Now I know what you were asking. My bad man. Yeah, just use the volume knob. Mine does the same thing if I use the volume rocker on the phone. Goes up to a certain point then drops back down.

This that and the other thing.
FINALLY had some nice weather and a nice dry lane way to crawl on haha so I did my oil change with Penzoil Platinum and a new oil filter + crush washer. I also removed my mud flaps and theres some knarly score marks but oh well. While I was removing the mud flaps I noticed, which at the time suspected had happened but didn't see, that my neighbor rubbed my truck with hers. saw the other day that the way she pulled into the driveway seemed pretty damn close to my truck, looked and she wasn't touching so didn't look into it but now I see where she had initially made contact. oh well, not much I can do about it, but it blends in with my tree rub from last summer. oh and I also installed new tail lights.

    Thanks bro!

Got a little more done too. Found a water based, low VOC, waterproof carpet glue, so I was able to glue the carpet to one of the pieces in my basement. Using the other piece as a nice flat weight. 24 hour cure time, so I'll tackle the other side tomorrow evening.

And plenty of headroom with my Leer 180 mid-rise shell/cap.

Did you buy em like that? I'm looking for front and rear lights and that back setup looks nice, especially when blacked out.

My navigation apps still play very low volume and are drowned out by the music for the most part.

I never understood why everyone has to have. Gps, I always just use my phone. One of the gains I wanted to achieve with an aftermarket stereo was to be able to use the Bluetooth to hear the navigation better. I don't necessarily have to see it. My wife's Sienna does this so was looking for the same.

So I called Kenwood today and was told these hu's are not designed to do this. I do have to be in the Bluetooth source for the navigation app to play though it. So that means I have to use the music from my phone if I want to listen so it plays and lowers the volume when the navigation gives directions but the music is still louder and was told there is no adjustment for this since both music and the navigation are coming through the same source. A phone call will override everything so I thought the Bluetooth would do the same for the navigation but was wrong. Maybe most people already know this and I'm just an idiot, idk. But I just thought it would work like my wife's van. So idk if there are any aftermarket hu's that will work like this w/o being a navigation model? I didn't want to spend the difference because I didn't think I'd need it.

Anyway I can manage with it, just not what I expected.
