Too poor to list anything interesting.
We usually get texts/calls from the friends we haven't seen in a while every time I post my smoker on social media.

MST3K is getting released on Netflix in 2 weeks. I told my gal I'd be smoking and binge watching that. She said "Oh. I guess that means we're having a party"
-Fuck that. This is for me.

I do that all the time now too. Just vac seal leftover Q in portions, and then drop it in just-simmering water, from frozen, until reheated. Maybe it's just my old man taste buds, but I can't tell the diff from fresh, especially with brisket. Ok, well, fresh off the smoker piping hot can't be beat, we all know that. But...

Its unique. In small amounts it just add color. In larger amounts its got some flavor to it. Its kinda hard to describe, but I guess the best way would be earthy pepper.

We live about 44miles from a big town so anytime we go its having to stop at least 6 places.....home depot, walmart, Sporting goods place, Hippie food place, Costco, Petco, lunch etc almost our whole day is gone.

Thats awesome man. Nothing like a day out in nature to help bring us all back to center. We are heading up to a cabin in May for a few days. Brother in law is bringing his smoker so we will have some good food that weekend. :)

I've even taken a few thawed vac sealed brisket portions on a long road trip and warmed them over the defrost vents in the car. Flip em a few times over half hour, cut the bag open, heaven on wheels. Gotta have lots of napkins :D

 I tell ya, vac sealing has changed the game for me in lots of ways. Kinda like getting a tractor... you wonder how the hell you went without it before.

If you have over an acre of land, it's a must IMO.

Not boiling, but just barely simmering, about 150 degrees. You don't want to re-cook it. You can also micro it, but the hot water method is best to retain texture and moisture.
