We like it. I can't say it's better or not than other tents out there because I've only ever used this one.

A few things I dislike all pertaining to the ladder.

The ladder rubber "bump stops" that rest against the bottom of the tent when the ladder is used to unfold the tent really dent the bottom of the tent. This is caused from the lever action when pull down on the ladder as leverage to unfold it.

The second thing is the ladder itself. I'm not sure if my truck is just the perfect height or not but I can never seem to find the right length for the ladder to lock. It's either too high or too low.

Also one of the pan head screws holding the lowest ladder rung fell out. I fixed this with a short pan head screw.

If I knew all of this before I purchased the tent it wouldn't have made me choose another brand. The guys at Tepui were very polite and helpful when purchasing. They also offered to replace my ladder but hell I fixed it so no reason for them to eat the cost of shipping and all that jazz. I just wish my truck was still on their website with the tent in use! HA!

Since were on the subject of tents. Ive got a family of 5 and looking out there at the bigger tents, there EXPENSIVE!! I noticed that smittybuilt had a big tent that might work for my family for like a grand. Did some looking around and most people like them. Yall have any experience with them?
