Snow/Water build up in weathertechs

Up here in winter wonderland, i installed the weathertechs before fall.
My problems is with all the snow covering my boots when getting in the truck, I would usually have a nice puddle soon after with the heat on.
So my first correction was to put a sponge in the back of the mat, but it didnt suck up much water, and i kept kicking it out when i got out.
But my next solution has worked better.
I got something simular to the "shamwow", about 6 inches wide and laid that accross the back of the mat. It lays flat and is thin enought to kind of lay in the groves.
But once i get home i just pull it out and ring it out real quick, and it does hold a good amount of water.
Then i just place it back in for the next use.
So far it has been working preaty good, but was wondering if anyone else had any other ideas.

 

click your heels together before you get in.

 

i pound them on the nerf bars, you may not be used to amount of snow we get.

Plus clicking your heels in a foot of snow does no good, you still in a foot of snow when your done

 

i havent seen snow in over two years.

 

its a snow thing, if i had to explain you wouldn't understand - hahaha

 

Pound them together while sitting on the seat with the door open. That's what I do when its muddy. Snow is even easier to pound off.

 

I use black hand towels from Target. $2 each. When they get dirty I throw 'em in the washer. Work great!

 

I just dump the mat outside...
