I guess I'm a little boring with the 4wlr I use it as a tool not a toy. I do need to get a bigger set of tires for it. it's an '08 650

 

The offshoots from Dunkle Hollow and Union Springs are variously gated roads for hunting season, leading to private property, or just short spurs, sone to campsites. Granted its been 5 or 6 years since I've been to Flagpole Knob, so some things may have changed. Lol

 

Looks like a shitty painting job is what's going on to me...

Good I got it rt then! IDGAF what they look like as long as they're covered good. I ended up having to go back over the IFS skid with a brush

 

I'm all about the toy part of it. I'll keep an eye out for some tires for you.

Yeah, I know a lot of them were gated off, but I saw a few that were open and labeled. Had interesting names. Even if it's just a spur, I like to explore. It's all about the adventure and the scenery.

I hear ya there. We've always gone with the " wonder what's down that road" rule. ie, if you see an unpaved road and you wonder what's down that road, you must wander down that road. ....

 

Yup, all Mobtown. I honestly don't even know an ETA on the stuff. I never asked. I'm assuming sometime in May. I got full skids, sliders, and high clearance rear bumper.

 

Exactly. And I think I might have found a little lady that shares the same mentality. That is, when both of our schedules align enough that she finds herself in the passenger seat of my truck.

I feel your frustration, I was on knee surgery 8 last winter during the blizzard and couldn't play in the snow.

 

That's the bonus right there! My lady enjoys wondering around lost with me, or fishing, kayaking, camping etc. Makes putting lots of miles on the truck almost too easy, but that same drive got us our teardrop trailer built too.

I got in on the group buy for the sliders and Joe helped me out with a fair deal on the rest since I ordered half the site.

I'm thinking I might do the install at work over a weekend or something because I've got a forklift and a 2 post lift there. And a torch and welder if for some reason anything wants to be real stubborn. And we're closed from noon Saturday and all day Sunday. So plenty of time.
