    actually for me it serves 5 purposes 1. It lets you crack your windows in the hot sun when parked and from outside no one can tell your windows are open a little bit. 2. it allows you to crack your window in the rain while driving without out getting wet. 3. it reduces sound when driving with windows down. 4. It also blocks the sun from the side when the sun is at that right angle and you dont want to swing your front visor over because it gets in the way. 5. It looks cool lol

    Either you installed the struts in the wrong location or you bought the wrong struts because I installed them per directions and they work perfectly with no need to bend anything.
