This appears to be in reference to installing the struts along with a K&N intake. Do you have the intake as well as the struts?

 

Oh... missed that part. Sorry for the confusion. I do not have the intake, just the struts.

 

Swapped out my cheese grater for an SR5 grille and derped the chrome bits.

Ha, Bro-roud! I'll take a few today.

Pretty happy with it so far, spent around 10 nights in it on the last trip, with another one coming up. Definitely saw a dip in gas mileage, from ~21 with no shell and tent to ~17 with shell+tent. I can't imagine the Tepui/CVT style is any better in that regard, they're not very aerodynamic. Plus I like the ease of setup with the hard shell, even if it sacrifices some interior space.

I keep going back and forth as to what I want to do with my suspension. Are the 5100's a drastic improvement in the ride quality on the SR?

 

Washed, clayed and waxed the truck. Some of this is new to an old fart like me. I never waxed class before or used the clay. It didn't seem to need the clay, but I wanted to try it.

Thanks for posting that up, it looks awsome! I've been contemplating getting this. Does that arm move around if you wanted to adjust it? If so do you think if adjusted you can use the mount to record when off roading or would it get too much dash?

Recently debadged. Really happy with how it looks. May put a small blacked out "4x4" on the rear, but not sure yet. Also still considering 2" level lift in the front. A local shop recommended ReadyLift Level Kit which raises the front by 2 1/4". That sounds a little too high to me. Anyone agree/disagree?

 

Are these floor clips simple to install? Im guessing drilling is involved?

 

You might be able to get away with a velcro/adhesive option....maybe.

In either case, this would be very useful. The passenger mat moving around rives me nuts

No drilling is involved. I drilled some pilot holes just through the carpet with a small 3/32 bit, just so the screw part of the clip would grab easier... but it's not necessary.

 

Do you have any info on installing the clips?
