I didn't see anything about the suspension but the frame was bent and it was replaced with all new parts. A page and a half of parts/labor/painting on it.

Was driving 50 mph on an old dirt road, new housing construction in the area caused them to dig out a 10 foot drop with concrete/rebar in the ditch with no warning signs. Popped my front right tire upon impact and sent me into a slight drift. I corrected my steering but the front right rim dug into a berm and sent us rolling. Couple of rolls and 3 passengers, no serious injuries.

Got the gas mileage down to 13mpg! Modification complete
God, I hate seeing a clean looking first gen like that....but it was a close color to grey....so pretty much inevitably going to happen, being a double cab just increased the odds;)

I didn't think anything of it, but now I have a double cab magnetic gray 3rd gen... My odds aren't looking good thanks to this thread!

Seems to be not if, but when. I wish I had know about this before I got mine, then I would have gone with the dam red.

Okay so let me get this right. You regularly for the last 12 years have been rounding this curve at 125mph. In your Tacoma. And the fact that you were low on fuel made the truck crash into the retaining wall.

Actually, no. Once you've banned someone twice and then they come back and lurk and you catch a name in the "users viewing thread". You take a look at their posting and notice the truck that posted seems really familiar and you dig up the info from the other accounts and put things together.

Didn't know 4 wheel steering was an option...

This happened to mine 2 days ago. Waiting to see if the insurance is going to fix it or total it. I kind of hope that they don't fix it because I'm afraid that it will never drive the same again.

That's gonna be a close one. Door, pillar, Cab, bed, rear suspension. Lots of man hours. I would want a new one too. Your ins or theirs?
