Possibly moving to Omaha soon so my girly can attend Creighton law school, and we are trying to find some good neighborhoods to live in. Gotta be reasonably cheap and definitely safe. We don't like the "Big city" feel so something opposite of that would be swell.

    Thanks Lads!

It's not a bad city at all....other than taxes! Most areas west of 72nd are pretty descent. There are bad pockets, but otherwise not bad. .

Lived here for the last 5 years (military stationed here) and west of 72nd is a good suggestion but for that small town feel and be within 20 minutes of creighton there are a lot of communities south of omaha and east (in Iowa). Housing is all affordable here. Just look on Google earth at the area.

I drove through NE and spent the night in Omaha. Its unique there, thats for sure. I would NEVER live there, but I'm sure for someone who grew up in the midwest, they may have a different opinion.
