no offense here but I can not stand anchorage my dad lives up in soldotna (kenai) about 30 minutes outside of town pretty sweet little piece of property, yall just got like 10 inches of snow right?

 

neither can I, gotta go where the work is though, and I'm a college student so its either Los Anchorage or Fairbanks, and fuck Fairbanks. work in anchorage ditch town on the weekends

 

What college do you go to up there? I'm about to graduate, and thinking about trasferring up there after a semester or two down here?

University of Alaska Anchorage, I'm in the Mechanical Engineering program, pretty cheap, I pay like 3-4 grand a year for tuition, I have one scholarship so without that its more like 7 grand a year, still cheap no matter how you look at it. Out of state residence pay about twice as much. I'm happy because I can graduate with no student loans.

I'll look into it! I want to go into a career in law enforcement, and it would be a dream for me to be able to become a state trooper up there.

There is good money to being a landlord. You might start with one, but you add properties to it. Eventually, your making a solid salary on something that takes minimal time.
