    Entune 3.0 has more like a 70% chance appearing in the 2018 Tacoma. Thus far all the 2018 cars from Toyota have Entune 3.0 as it's multimedia system; along with Safety Sense. However, the Tacoma could be the exception.

    yeah, the Tundra seems to be in dire need of a facelift. but that grill, to me, is far worse than the chrome one on the 3rd gens (which I still refuse to part with for $400 of nonfunctional plastic... but I do love that Pro grill. ....one day)

    The 17s (and 16s) are a fantastic truck... yes still working some mostly minor kinks out and some that downright have frustrated some owners, but that's gonna happen the first 2-3 years of most new generations. Buy what you want when you can afford it and need it, but you are unlikely to get a better deal on a 17 by waiting until the end of the year and unlikely you'll get anything major or functional in the 18s aside from some new tech. My DCSB OR has all the tech I need and some that I don't, and I agree with other posters that the more tech you add, the more to go wrong and have to replace and troubleshoot later. Safety sense would be "nice" but I really like being in control of my truck and not becoming reliant on something else to do my driving for me. It's like GPS, many of us (myself included) are now dependent on it, especially if you live in / travel to cities. Then what happens? People forget how to get anywhere and the concept of the old Rand McNally maps we all had in our trucks are a relic....

    My only regret is not getting the JBL. Stock stereo is "ok" - not terrible, but I do wish I had the factory-installed premium sound. Did not want the sunroof though. reduces valuable headroom

    Sounds fantastic (way better than JBL), slides into existing speaker spots and plugs and plays into your truck's wiring and you keep original head unit with 100% functionality.

    They could have saved millions by just not having those dumb ass steering wheel controls for the radio and display between the gauges and either eliminate the gauge or the electronic display, why both???? Cut costs my ass

    Any word on more manual transmissions or an 8 speed auto? I have a 2005 Taco OR that I love, and was planning on getting a 16, but Toyota won't sell me the truck I want. I want an access cab, OR, manual. To make it worse, if I want the quicksand color, I can't get the premium tech package. In there years I've been lurking here, it seems like there were some Toyota insiders who had heard some chatter. So, any hope for more manuals and package options? If not, I'm afraid Toyota is going to loose my business.

    DCSB is no go for me. I use the bed for camping and can't fit in the short bed. I know DC is the most popular, but I don't like the looks of DC models. I might live with an auto if they follow GMs lead and dump the 6 speed problem for a smooth shifting 8 speed, and can get the color I want.
