One thing I really regret about buying a truck with 112k miles on it... I'll never get to see 80085 on my dashboard.

Finally got it on the airwaves with a Yaesu 100DR ham radio install. Managed to do the entire install with out a single hole, cut, or splice into anything factory. Pretty proud about how it turned out.

I plan to take better pictures and do a write-up of the install in my build thread this weekend.

Yeah that. Stock springs are a dime a dozen. Worst case you can take it to a spring shop for probably less than half the dealership.

 

Damn sorry to hear that man. I'd check on here and Craigslist for some used ones. I've seen quite a few in my area in the past so who knows maybe you'll find a deal. Personally, and this is just my opinion, I'd wait to do all four corners until you get this other stuff taken care of just so you don't feel like you need to worry about budget quite so much and do it proper.

Ive been looking at a few options for replacement. the OME kit doesnt look too bad and i could swing it if its worth doing all four corners. Im in the estimated life range for the shocks/struts but they dont seem bad. otherwise i wouldnt think twice about an upgrade.

 

I did mine for about 60$ worth of materials and a few hours of my time and patience.

I've heard great things about different ome setups. Make sure you do plenty of research for your specific year and body and what not. If you can do it and will use it then I'd say hell yeah do it. It's up to you though. You know how much use you'll get out of them and other factors better than anyone else.

Thank You, Thank You, kind Sir. I just need to get her eyes done (TRS RETROFIT) and it'll be somewhat complete...as far as "blacked out" goes anyway. Still many more mods to come- as $ permits!
I also have black leather Clazzio covers that I think look pretty snazzy too-Lol.
