So go ahead and tell him "you won't rub at all" then he goes and buys the tires and realizes he can't even make a u-turn

On a serious note theres a few people running BP-51s with no rubbing at all and 285s.

It's different for every truck...no 2 are the same.....I wheel mine w 285's with a 3" lift on 885's and top plate spacers and never rubbed a thing. But that's sway hooked up.

Thanks guys for your opinion. Looks like putting 35s only means more work and cutting.
Or get a 6" lift looks like

My Bp51's gave me about 3" of lift. About an inch over the same kit on gen 2's. My 285/75/16's didn't rub until I got negative offset wheels. I did the cab mount chop. Trimming the fenders will help. I'm bumping up to 35's in the near future. So I'll keep you posted. They'll fit but it's going to take a helluva lot of cutting and smashing crap with a hammer. I love when people say it won't work. Watch me :boink:

Okay then. I've seen 3 trucks in person with the same kit and all of them were about an inch lower than mine. I'm not here to argue. Just my .02 cents.

I'm not here to argue, but I don't believe it.

There's really no way to tell either unless your measuring where the frames are sitting.

it is a lot of work. I still rub with all the cutting and banging I've done to my truck. I'm not saying it wont work, just saying its a lot effort. But I do love my 35's

@Kauhi If you check out my build on pages 6 and 7 it will give you a reference to how much is needed to cut for 35's. Don't forget about the pinch welds too

What I'm getting at is they aren't the same for every application. You see that all the time with lifts. Anyways, you bung holes have a good evening :boink:
