    I'll be needing help with a lift some point in the next month (if Chase ever sends me my damned new card already), hope to be ordering parts this week or next. Coils, UCA's and rear leafs & shocks. Willing to travel and bring beer. Not sure what else I'll have ready to go in as far as mods by then, maybe some wiring, but I can solo that job easy enough.

    @xJuice - those Wildpeak's? LT?

    I swear by the time I decide on what tires to throw on my truck I'll be able to ID every AT tire on the market by tread alone. Wish there were more options in C-load in the 265/75/16 size, likely end up with the Cooper AT3, it's like I'd be fine with a P-load 80% of the time, but when I need the durability of a LT tire, I'll REALLY need it.

    I've taken to taking walks around the neighborhood and our parking garage just to see what other trucks have and how they look in person, plus I have the spreadsheet. I don't just over think things, I over think about how to over think things.

    My garage is small, and way off that map but well stocked and I kinda know what I'm doing if you'd like to come over.

    Truck stuff
    I'd be up for a mod day. I still have a few things I want to get done before Jambo.

    I up for a Bridgeport/Barnwell trip before Jambo. I'll have to fit it in with work but I should be able to make any weekend day we decide on.

    I could assist but the only thing I'm really good at is sitting around drinking and helping with needed info. I can google like a champ and have a decent amount of knowledge. I just installed my lift with a buddy yesterday. It was my first time ever lifting a vehicle and it went ok. We didnt have all the tools I would have liked when we started but we made do.

    I recommend just finding a tire that fits your requirements of size and load rating. I chose KO2's, 265/70r17 C rated for that reason and the good reviews they get. Next time I will go larger to a 285 but I will still try and stay to a C or D rated tire. I dont really need E rated and would rather have the weight savings for all the city driving I do. While i've been liking my current tires next time it probably wont be a KO2 but something else that gets good reviews.

    I research the crap out of everything I buy! I usually dont go as far as making spreadsheets but I know everything about anything I am interested in buying. I dont make enough money to blow any on bad purchases. Theres always something that money could go towards.

    The Cooper is the only decently well known tire (aside from Duratracs which I'm not a fan of after reports of soft sidewalls and hearing how noisy they can be) available in C-load, there's also a Goodyear Wrangler 'Trailrunner AT', likely on the same base as the Duratrac and thus same sidewall. In D load there's the Nitto and the older Yokohama, both of which weighs as much as the newer E-load Yokohama. And unless I find someone who wants to take a set of Level 8 wheels off my hands at near retail cost for 17's, don't see me changing wheel size.

    You'll notice the title is DFW BS. Plus this is TacomaWorld. You drive a 4Runner and live in Baton Rouge, go away. Come back when you have 4 spinny wheels.
