towing my 1st Gen 4x4 with a uhaul tow dolly???

Have you considered towing a trailer with your truck? If the load isn't too much, i'd do that...it's cheaper and easier.

 

I have a 20' box uhaul truck I am towing my truck with that. It's just me so I have to do it this way

 

Understood...well pull the rear DS and you should be fine. Make sure the ebrake isn't set

 

I'll toss this question out there, what about transfer case neutral? does it still spin the trans shaft or does it disconnect inside the xfer?

 

It disconnects at the T-Case but you face the issue of the T-Case not oiling as it's internal pump is driven off of the transmission output.

We were stuck in a park middle of no where and had to rent one. My tires were probably at 2psi and we barely got the straps around, same size as you. This is just my experience though

 

Moving to lake havasu

 

Wonder if I can't get there webbing straps to fit if I can just buy some 2" straps to make it secure.
