What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Planning to rebuild box for 2 subs up like so but symetrical and a slot port/squareport/aeroport in middle facing forward. The current box loses alot of bump when the window directly above the port is down

 

Wish I could give this more than one like... LIKE TIMES A MILLION DUDE!

 

Fuckin box is heavy with subs in it , about 150 lbs

 

I bet. That shit looks big AF, so I'm sure it's heavy AF too.

 

I'm pretty happy with the quality and the light out put, I may pull them out and reseal with silicone as many do with the DEPO's just for peace of mind haha

5100's showed up Tuesday and since then the week has been dragging. Cannot wait for Saturday.

 

DIY roof rack from scraps from the work place, used my bedrails I made out of slotted steel for the cross bars and cut down a piece of old heavy duty fiberglass platform that was used to be for walking on that went to the pile and this is the finished piece of junk turned into a very sturdy and versital rack

 

Looks bad ass man, REAL BAD ASS. Nice job, well done sir!

 

Love stuff like this. As someone without a massive disposable income, I really appreciate cheap DIY projects that turn out looking just as good as they function. 10/10 for recycling/ creativity/ execution.

I didn't want to create a new thread on this, but on my pre runner I have these 4D, 3, and 2L gears on my shifter. Can anyone explain to me when they might be useful and what each does? is it pretty much like 4Lo and 4hi but for 2wd? Thanks for any input

 

That just stops the transmission from up shifting if you want to hold a certain gear. 2L would have the trans shift from first to second, that's it. 3, 1-2-3, 4h will let it go to 4th gear but not kick into overdrive.

 

Had another nice day today so I decided to change my rear diff oil with some Royal Purple. pulled a noob and kept on filling, 4 qrts later still was not dribbling out, buddy pulls up and I ask him to drive me to buy more, he says, ur parked on an angle buddy (front end low) I face palm and pull forward to level out the truck and to drain out the excess. but to my surprise not a whole lot drained out, not a whole qrt anyways lol lesson learnt

 

I like being able to bring things back to life and this one was no different the things I come up let me tell ya- lol thanks for the 10! which is about how much I spent on the entire project!

 

Finally finished installing this bad daddy. Had to relocate the solenoid so re wiring took a little longer than expected. Overall pretty happy with the look. One of these days I'll buy synthetic line on the winch but gotta beat up the cable first
