Quick disconnect sway bar end links. For First Gen tacoma 95-00

If your looking for a cheap mod, to get you more traction when your out on the trails, then this is for you. Pull a pin, remove bushing, (secure with a zip tie, if you want) and get on the trails.

Grade 8 hardware, heavy duty end links. Energy suspension bushings. This is a robust piece, built to take abuse.

Made a couple for a couple friends, and one back out, so come and get it.

Shipping is included I the price as long as your in the continental USA.

Side note: if you have a 99-00, you will have to use a reamer on the lower control arm mounting hole, Ive found small burs that need to be removed so you don't mess up the threads on the new bolt.

    price 130.00 shipped

How viable is it to just run them full time for the most part? I have a bent end link and need new ones. Was just gonna do OEM ones. Also, the part number for the links on camelback say 95-02 and varies based on 4wd vs 2wd, not sure what would be different though.

I run these end links full time, except when i using 4x4. I live on a dirt road, so my set has been seeing daily abuse, and still work like new.

The quick disconnect end links are thicker, heavy duty, with grade 8 hardware, built to be on a off-road truck, not a mall crawler.

These were designed to be used with 4x4 models, consider a 2x4 truck wouldn't get an advantage, in the aspect of front wheel traction, by installing these end links.

If I didn't just replace mine I'd be all over these.

btw - the sway bars vary from 98-00 to 01-04. I was given one off an 01-04 and the holes at the end of the sway bar faced outward. The holes on my 98-00 face upwards/downwards.

The end links you have pictured in the OP wouldn't work the 01-04 sway bar I was given. Just an FYI

But since you've piqued my interest

    1. What do you do with the end link when it is disconnected and you're wheeling?

    2. How much of a PITA is it to get the end links situated back on the sway bar when you're at the trailhead ready to get on road again?

Good to know. It's confusing shopping parts online. Bump for OP though.

    1. I remove the bushings and washers and place then in my center console. Then i zip tie the end link to the lower control arm.(The picture above with the end link disconnected)

    2. Actually it really easy to put them back on. Turn the steering wheel all the way to one side, to access the end link. Cut the zip tie, put the bushings and washers back on. I use a long flat head screwer/a small pry bar to wedge in between the sway bar and the upper bump stop to push the sway bar down, to put the pin back into place.(you can see in the photos its a straight line from the upper part of the sway bar to the upper bump stop.) Connecting both sides of the end links take a minute or two.

Got mine in. I think you could have quite a bit of business if you made them. Probably more business then you could handle. I searched TW a lot for someone who made them, and everyone who used to quit. There's a lot of WTB threads for them.
