Found this... anyone know if there is one for the tacoma?

That's the best guard i've ever seen. And yeah, closest thing i know of is the Avid bumper guard.

Looks like a big damage multiplier

 

The avids can take a surprising amount of force. It's not going to magically save your truck if you rear end someone, but it sure will if you bump it into a pole.

 

but they look cool!

 

Anything attached to the bumper plate will magnify any damage you have because it acts like a giant wedge. Only those things welded to the frame have a shot at reducing body damage.


Plus I'd argue the avid bar increases the chances youd bump something because it sticks out from the bumper. This stuff is for looks, its not idiot prooffing lololol.

 

Is that off a LC? My front end game isn't very strong.
