New Lift may have problems

I just put on my new lift and i am not sire if i have problems or just i new feeling in my truck. but when i go over a bump or anything to cause my truck to bounce, it just just that it bounces alot. do i need to get a new Swing arm? Any suggestions? I put on a three inch tuff country lift with spring spacers in the fron and an add a leaf in the rear, i also put in new front Blistein struts on. It also looks like the Baja look a little in the front.

 

thats just the truck reactin to having less travel now that spring spacers are stuffed in there. spring spacers may raise the truck up but the ride quality really takes a shit kicking. I have spring spacers to(not for much longer) and i hate them with a passion.

 

If I read this correctly the front spacers were put on while the struts were apart? If the spacer is between the spring and the top of the strut/shock then the shock is extended almost all the way and your front suspension can't droop much if at all.

W/O removing the stock overload spring before adding the "add-a-leaf" to the rear you made the rear springs very stiff. On top of this without putting longer shocks on the rear suffers the same fate as the front... No droop.

My suggestion..... Remove the whole thing, find someone who wants it for the bling factor (I've seen this kit and it's good for nothing else) and save some coin for a good mid-travel setup. Or you can do the 5100's all around and set the front to 1.75 (any more and you'll probably need upper arms to align it properly) which will come close to leveling the truck and still allow the suspension to function as designed..... Sorry i just re read my postand didnt catch the miss spelled words i worte that in a hurry, but thank for the tips. I think i am going to take off the spring spacers and invest in some new coil springs. i think that might be the problem becuse when i put on the spring spacers it really compressed the spings and it was almost bowing out on the strut. but they are the new Blistein struts i think it is the 5100's but i am not sure. it just seems like there is a lot more tension on the springs and not allowing them to extend oll the way causing it to be very sensitive to any kind of bump or hole in the road. but do you think that will reduce the boucing?

 

there are two different spacers...on that preloads the spring (compress the spring then place in spacer) which has a harsh ride because it...well preloads the spring. then there is one that installs above the strut like the one I have from Low range offroad which does little to anything to affect your ride. LRO kit also comes with a diff drop which in my opinion is a must if you want to keep any good geometry numbers and save your CV's
