Hell yea we'll have to meet up then. I usually enter rampart off of Jackson creek road and ride south. Seems to be less travelled

I think last I rode down there is was 649 to 650 and I really enjoyed it. Pretty secluded and scenic trail. I also enjoy the single track, but it wears me out in half an hour.

Fits well. I'll finish bolting it up tomorrow and then spend some time at my second home working on getting the filler neck connected to the water tank.

So i failed at installing the bed stiffeners. The bolts on the bottom of the bed are too seized to remove, I snapped the tip off my T40 bit o_O Will probably just cut the bolts out, my question is, is there a toyota part I should order or can i replace them with normal hardware?

Chuck box on the other hand is going fairly well!

Baby steps. Takes a bit more metal fabrication skills than I'll own up to. Mainly being able to completely seal it from the weather. I have been trying to find one off a crappy condition topper to modify to what i need and put in mine.

And i just wanted to get this on so then the ideas can start rolling about what i want to add to it.

It needed to be a quick turnaround to have the truck working again. Can't be without a window for a week.

Did you clean any exposed threads under the bed?
You may be trying to force a bunch of dirt and rust back through the threads if not.

Not sure what you mean by "Cut out" but my preferred method is Drilling out and knocking in an extractor (Not sure of exact name, but see below- never saw bottom one before) bit and attach visescrips to remove or cut a flat head into top and screw driver it out.

I meant cut out by taking an angle grinder to the top of the bolt and just making it go away, then hammering a punch in there to pop the bolt out.

I might just weld a bar onto the top of the bolt and use that to pop it loose. It's really rusted/seized. I'll try this extractor

Since you mention really Rusted/ Seized the extractor might not be best choice unless you PB Blaster the heck out of it for a bit.

Isn't that a T55 not 40? I might give it a try if you are on the south end of town. My bed bolts are seized so I'm buying a t55 impact 1/2" socket
