I ordered some of those t-slot covers to hopefully kill some of the noise. I was thinking it may be the light bar and position due to the higher than usual wind noise in the area but after changing positions several times I'm still howling pretty loud.

I saw someone build little pieces that closed up with side openings on the deflector. I'm curious if this area letting through a small amount of air is contributing to it. Might order some thick ABS and make a new deflector that would cover these slots too.

Please report back how that works out. I go back and forth in the thinking that those gaps on either side of the deflector likely help a fair amount with reducing wind resistance at the sake of a roar (esp. at interstate speeds). I know one user on here mentioned cutting some leftover scraps to fill in the gaps and it helped them quite a bit. Would like to hear more than one report though before going down that route! The t-slot covers will help considerably though, and cover any exposed holes close to the deflector. Likely you have 7 holes on each side that also contribute to some noise and whistling that vanishes when covered.

Has anyone ever strung a hammock from their rack? Are they strong enough for that?

I also have one mounted up, I personally get a whistle at certain speeds. But not sure if it's from roof rack or case. I still want to get another for tools and shit too. The first box has straps, shackles, axe, machete, tiedowns.

Hey guys im trying to find a picture of an over the top view of the led bar connected to the prinsu design wind deflector cut out. As of right now i have a 40 in rough country led bar with no brackets. What should i do for the brackets or to connect the bar. Links to what to buy etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Drivers side of my light bar. I'm sure there are 100s of ways to do it.

Anyone know how this would look in combination with a front runner rack? I have a front runner rack on my shell and want the whole roof to have a rack. Just don't have the money for the front runner and this is a little cheaper, just hoping it won't look tacky

Depends on how well the line up on the top!
One sits higher than the other?

Might regret not spending the extra on both form and function..

If you're that strapped for cash sell the front runner and buy both prinsu racks

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
Looks good, I ended up ditching the foam and just laying everything in there. I was able to fit an ARB tree saver, snatch strap, a Southeast Overland kinetic rope and soft shackle, and an ARB tire repair kit.

Need some help from people that have installed their top rack. My canopy is a leer 100xr with factory installed tracks. It seems as though the canopy slopes from the middle to the sides and the tracks are left / right specific due to the height being taller on one side than the other. From my picture, does it look like these were installed incorrectly? It would make more sense in my mind if the taller portion of the track was on the outside of the truck so that it would counteract the slope of the shell. You can see the rack will not sit flat at all.

Second question... are the rectangular washers and gr8.8 bolt combination for the track supposed to be this short? I assumed they go together as they were in the same baggy in the shipment. I only have 1/2" of thread showing and still need to get the support foot, round washer, lock washer and nut on top of that.

Is it really taller on the inside? Or is it just the slope of the roof?
