No. I have a 6spd manual and had 3.73s before I regeared. And at one point I almost bought @bjmoose's 4.10 gears but decided to get 4.56

This is correct, inside designated wilderness areas trail maintenance crews aren't even allowed to use any motorized tools like chainsaws.

My buddy works for the USFS when they fight fires in a wilderness there are no dozers and no chainsaws. All fire line is cut by hand.

looks like someone that was trying to learn me was wrong. they was quoting me the 4banger.

So even better, i did all that on 3.727. but looks like i should buy some factory 4.10 to regear  hope those 4's have a 8inch.

It cleans up. Takes a few hours but i enjoy cleaning her after my adventures.

I did find out that mudding with the windows down is a bad idea. Haha

If you're gonna do it, might as well go 4.56. Think you'll be happier in the end.
Or....4.88s and dirty fives? I know you want to :boink:

That's hardcore. I can imagine it's hard to see the value of such restrictions when in that situation though.

Yea agreed. Not much difference from 3.73 to 4.10 and if you're gonna spend $600+ on the install, might as well make it worth it.

That's what I'm trying to figure out with the Tundra. Eventually I'd like to regear, but it came stock with 4.10's and I'm running heavy 34's. 4.56 should be fine, but would 4.88 be advisable. Hard to determine with the V8.

I think Andy had his windows down. Mine were up with the fan on recirculate. Guess they could have been down if I kept more distance. Eating the dust of @jAndyMendo @jberry813 @theed @tetten. @FPpanchhh was eating mine. It was delicious.

    IMG_6213.jpg

Pull over. Hammerdown. Catch up to the dust. Pull over again. More hammering. Stop for group photo and a beer. Good times.
