I really like the cbi bars. They are a nice blend of low enough to get the tent out of the wind yet high enough to pack a fair amount of gear underneath. If you are an over packer then something taller might work well. I just use it as an excuse to leave the stuff I don't need at home. You could definitely use those holes for bolting up accessories. Shovel handyman etc. Not sure a Rotopax would work. I'll measure the height tonight.

Nice looking truck! I love the CBI gear...quality made stuff. This year I'm looking at rear bumper w/tire & fuel swing out, sliders, skid plates and overland bed rack.

I've had great interactions with @CBI Offroad Fab. Can't recommend them enough.

This is a great looking and functional rig. I just ordered some cbi bed bars and am looking at getting the Mt Shasta in the next few weeks. When you installed the rear bumper it looks like the rear panels were cut to accommodate it. Is that what you did?

Yes. The bottoms were trimmed off. I had dented up the driver side in that area already so that helped make the decision to just cut them off.

Thanks. I'm hoping to get my on board water and charging station in the RTT installed this weekend. Although its snowing out so I am not too motivated at the moment.

Finally put that wheelers 3 degree shim in, so now I've got the shim and carrier bearing drop with the Dakars. I had forgotten how smooth driving can be... :)

I love the old blue and white license plates. I have a set from Clark county 1970.

I'm still fighting some vibes. What lift do you have on yours? I only have the shim at the moment. But I was thinking about adding the Carrier drop again as well.

I've got 2.5 icons in the back with the full dakar pack. I've had vibes basically since I lifted, even with the Icon AAL, I just assumed it was tire vibration at first. When I went to the dakars it was obvious with rumble stripping during acceleration and deceleration, as well as high frequency vibrations from like 25+ mph.

First I did the OME carrier bearing (I think wheelers has them), which did not help much at all, then the shim and everything feels good with both of them now.

I talked to a guy who works at ARB today who says he's having trouble with customers who lift and it's really hard to pinpoint exactly how much they need to correct. Some people need to shim with just the factory suspension... There's probably a way to be scientific and measure to get correct angle, but whatever :)

I tried measuring but the angle finder on my phone did not seem accurate enough. I just put the cb drop back in so I will report back with the results.

    Mine are in bad shape.

Was going to see if I could get them on the ram diesel. I'm not to confident they will fly with the DMV. Faded, not reflective and a wee bit smashed up.

You can have them remade with the same numbers you have or a personalized message. That's what I have done.

I will snap a pic of them tonight and post em for you to see. Early Clark county plates. CAW000. They have probably been on at least 10 family cars.
