Need advice dealing with a neighbor and BS thread

In part, some believe only law enforcement and military should have them. Just is what it is. My mother is against them but a relative of hers lost an eye so I can understand it.

I've long been a believer of live and let live..as in don't like one don't get one.

Going back to music for a minute...

Anybody else have incredibly eclectic taste in music? I have metal, hard rock, rap, probably every country sub-genre and even some Sinatra and Martin loaded up to play at anytime.

Pandora is shuffling between hard rock, metal and country right now. Drives my wife nuts. I don't care.

 

In big cities it's easier to live in a perpetual bubble. Live in an apartment or condo, walk or Uber to work, go back home to said apartment/condo and shut out the outside world. Minimal life exposure. Crime goes on around them and since they didn't see or hear anything, or affect them directly, it didn't happen.

And then there are the "Travel Abroaders" that haven't traveled the US but brag about "living abroad." Yet they are "experts" at all things US.

In the area I live in there are actually people who test common sense only to lose time and again. Best examples are the people that jog at midnight and seem surprised that someone robbed/raped them. Or the people who walk back home after the bars/clubs close at 2am and become victims.

And then there are those that are anti law enforcement but then gripe that the police aren't doing enough.

 

I an a cop magnet. Apparently I look suspicious.

 

I heard that "Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus is kind of a catchy tune. Good for killing time in the car

 

Do you live in a small town, bet you don't have an assigned house sitter like my town does, every friday and saturday night they have a cop posted outside my gate and they follow me. Swear to god. The funny thing is I don't have any drug related charges or violent charges. They just know that I'm the town socialite and go to all the parties and shit. Consequently I have a total of 6-9 speeding tickets, and vehicle tickets such as no front license plate, illegal equipment(blue underglow) and some other bs tickets.

That brings up another point...no one likes being pulled over, ticketed or going to court. That feeling is normal. The way to make it worse is popping off and being disrespectful. Yes sir/No sir or Yes Ma'm/No Ma'm goes a long way and doesn't cost anything.

 

I agree, that's why I am not in handcuffs a lot.

If my neighbor kept selling crap with my address. I would put a sign in my front yard.

"Dear craiglist buyer, seller actually live over there" with a arrow pointing to his house"

This is very true. People can be naive if they've only had good experiences with other people and that makes them complacent. Some just can't grasp that there is nothing that is horrible that human kind can't accomplish.

Some friends feel I'm slightly paranoid. I say I'm vigilant but welcoming.

 

I do everytime but literally every cop and I are on a first name basis. But I call them sir mam everytime.

 

Another thing that I like to do when uninvited guest are on my front yard. Turn on the sprinklers.
