looks very nice, i have a similar grille/skid plate combo and love it

 

thanks, yea the skid plate came with the truck when i bought it.

 

unfortunately mine did not

 

yea i am the second owner of the truck so the last owner may have put it on.

 

this is the latest pic of the grill

 

is your skid plate billet/shiney or silver, mine came almost textured silver i was expecting billet

 

its textured silver or bare aluminum there all the same.

 

What fog light mod did you do? Obviously I see what lights you did... just curious how you did it

 

all you have to do is switch the two power wires (green) from the blinker and the running lights and change the bulbs.

 

is your truck a 4cyl?

 

How do you do the "Fog Light Mod"?

 

Looks great!

 

strip some wires back out of the loom from the parking lights/turn signal harness and swap the green wires.



However, my signals now blink fast, as if a bulb is blown but they both blink. did yours do this tacomaforlife?

Are there picture floating around here about the fog light mod. I cant find any.

 

i can go back out and take a few pictures, the pain is getting the corner light out without breakin a tab and stripping down the wires, i just used butt connectors, pics up in a little bit

Yeah...same boat. What do you think about starting a 1st Gen 'need help' thread...sounds like others do the mod regularly...they'll post.
