Yeah there's about one spot maybe where you MIGHT need lockers, but I made it up without it. Depends what line you take. Having done it during one of those storms at the end of last year was a totally different experience..

Yeah..couldn't see anything ahead, and all the mud would make you slide into the ditches. Nothing but skinny pedal worked for me that day...

right, but where on the trail was this difficulty you had? was it just the mud that made it harder? or was there like some big ass new obstacles?

We started up the backside (I'm bad at names and directions) did the usual trails, but it was mainly the mud that made everything that much harder.

We did it the day after a huge rain and it also rained while we did it. We went up Rowher trail from the staging area. Didnt attempt the back side in those conditions it would be dangerous

Ah okay cool, cuz nothing on the trail looked like it moved when I ran it. Crazy how big a factor the mud plays in there.

Fuck that mud. Espcially the rowher clay shit

We went up Rowher trail from the staging area. We turned off the backside before the Kevin spot.

As far as Pilot Rock, do you'll think it's worth my while? I know we had them fires, just wondering if anyone's been up there recently. Thanks!
