    Well it wasn't today but this week I had @Shmellmopwho fab up a badass chase rack for my taco... It holds my spairs, jack, lights and makes the truck 100% cooler, lol.

    I paid the guy $45 to have it welded on and create new hangars and go ahead and chop the exhaust over the rear axle. It varies shop to shop really, some i see charge anywhere from $20-$80. If you can, dont pay more than $60 and thats pushing it.

    I was speaking of competing. 150db will get you qualified. The record as of now is 171db.

    I build amps in the home audio arena for a living. I in fact am working on my own start up. I have designed a one off tube amp that will go into my Tacoma that fits into a special fiberglass case that fills behind the seats. It's lined in carbon fiber so it looks crazy. This is a 5 channel push/pull running Russian built 2a3 tubes hitting at about 30 watts per channel. That may see very low in car audio speak, but you'd be amazed how it equals to car audio. Gotta address the cooling issues. I will have to show it upon completion here. It's cost prohibitive to mass produce, but I will have fun with it.
