Thanks guys! I actually like it better than the TRD bronze wheels i had.

Wheels are 17x8.5 Method NV 4.75" BS
Tires are 285/75/17 (34x11.5) Ridge Grapplers. Im also running 3/4" BORA spacers so i clear my JBA upper control arms at full lock.

Why did you go from a 2016 to a 2013? Not that it's bad, just wanted to know.

Because the 2nd gen is way more manly looking and doesn't sound like a little rice burner. :ohsnap:

Stupid question. How did you get the fourth knob for the 4wd control when you ordered? All I see are sets of 3.

Long story short, sold it to go to paramedic school, needed something cheaper and a commuter car for the 14 month weekly commute. Ended up getting a full time position at my department instead so this time around I wanted a cheaper truck, loved the look of the 2nd gen/power and found a killer deal.

Thanks for the info. I had a choice when buying mine at the end of 2015, getting the new 3rd gen or buying one of the last 2015's made. There was also an $8k difference.

Find someone who bought a second set, but here is the dilemma I found that nobody has answered: My 4X4 switch has a piece that sticks out that has to go further into the switch to engage into 4Lo. I put one of my round knobs on and I was UNABLE to shift into 4Lo. The knob needs that piece, thus I have to stick with the stock one.

Yeah don't get me wrong I loved my other truck and there's parts I miss and others not so much. Pros and cons of both.

I am sure there is a lot nice about the 3rd gens, when they said I could have the 2015 for $31K and the 2016 for $39k, I figured I could do a lot with the $8k difference. To sweeten the dealer the 2015 they threw in the bed mat, roof racks, TRD front plate, side steps, TRD shift knob and TRD exhaust tip.

Let me explain this further, on the stock dial of my 4X4 switch,

    IMG_1347.jpg

there is a piece that sticks out.

    IMG_1349.jpg

This piece when in 4Hi lines up with a hole in the switch. When you push and turn into 4Lo, this piece unlocks the switch to change into 4Lo. When I put the matching round knob in, I was unable to switch into 4Lo, thus the round knob is not compatible in the 4X4 switch if you want to use 4Lo

I just did this very thing! after dropping $1k on new valves i didn't want that ff'ing pump to fail due to a cheap-ass foam filter...
