    Yeah, I have the Blackhawk K&N and it can get almost ear deafening if you hold your foot down. I always thought the engine noise came almost exclusively from the exhaust, but I have the stock exhaust and all the sound comes directly from the engine bay.

    Sorry missed this. I did all the mounting myself. Sold the truck. Just too small and the transmission drove me crazy. Went back to full size. Did same setup on new truck.
