rcbs204 4x4 Illuminated Switch!

I changed the design so the led's sit on the pcb. I changed the LED angle to 20 degrees so there is a narrow band of light projected. Saved me allot of headaches. Just bubble wrap now!!!! it is shipping USPS.

"I hooked mine to the AC Control harness" Is the AC Control harness in pic #13 of the instructions so easy to find a blind man will have no problem ? If not what is the procedure ? Any pics ? The pics on the instructions are great, nice and clear.

 

For those of you that don’t care about how the switch is powered, all you have to do now is hook the
two wires to the dash lights and the job is complete.

Could you elaborate? Any pictures? Im thinking Id prefer not to solder.

 

Cut the ends off your switch. Tap 1 to any solid green wire behind the dash. Tap the other wire to a green with white stripe.

For tapping, use whatever you like. From butt connectors to t-taps.

 

So you don't need to find the AC control, just any solid green and any green with white stripe ? Will it dim like the rest of the dash lights ? Thanks.

That T tap way is awesome....don't think I've seen those before. That way if you need to pull the switch out for anything you can just unplug it from the t tap. Will the wires behind the dash dim the lights on the switch as well??

 

I don't think they dim...I think they come on with the lights on the AC controls, etc. when you turn on the headlights.

 

They do dim with the dash lights if hooked up as i have the me documented!!!

 

So i have all the units shipped except 4 orders, and they are custom colors gotta order blue leds again.

FYI: If you were to order stock red they will ship ASAP. I have 25 stock reds in the envelope ready to go.

Yep stayed up until 1:00am last night to get caught up , so when orders are placed they should be no longer than 1 week lead time.
