It mounted up perfectly. I'm not too sure why it was omitted. Here are some pics. IMG_5724.jpg IMG_5725.jpg

I would like to know too is the rail will work with the Tacoma bed tri-fold cover. It sure would be dumb if they don't work together.

When I bought mine at the dealer, they had to order it. It took about 5 days to get in. The guy at the dealership couldn't find the part for the 2016. I told him to look it up for a 2015. He was able to find it then.

    Mods coming soon...
2nd gen rail fits perfect. Same bolt pattern, <5 minute install.

Not sure why they didn't include them on our 3rd gens other than to sell more from the stealership.

I literally brought the rail into Home Depot with me, I bought 2 maybe 4 inch bolts, 4 washers and 2 wing nuts. One washer on the bolt head, the washer keeps the bolt head inside the bed rail and I used another washer and a wing nut to secure the boards to the bolt, very easy.

No close up pics on my phone, I can get some tonight, I'm delivering some side steps anyways. These Tred Pros are 45.67 inches long and 13 inches wide, they fit pretty snug

Rail fits fine with my Extang Revo Tonno cover. Attached bike mounts using T slot nuts.

 I was really impressed you found a thread from Oct 2015 instead of just creating a new one.

Out of curiosity are the holes already there for the front bed rail? Just buy and put in?
