2015 Outback. I only had this car for a little over 2 years and for the most part it was great. Really comfortable and a beast in the snow, but the 4 cylinder struggled in the mountains.

My beloved 1990 Honda Accord LX that I got bone stock and pretty much changed or modified every nut and bolt of short of an engine swap. Did the intake, header, exhaust, suspension, wheels/tires, Prelude seats, stereo/neons (it was 2002 at the time!), all OEM accessories, had new quarter panels done, swapped the trunk lid to the newer style, etc, etc. The lip kit was exceedingly rare for the car too and the front piece was a retrofit from a newer model.

My 2006 STi I purchased after college. Had it almost 10 years as I sold it this past April. Had a Cobb Stage 2 setup with a Pro-Tune, Defi gauged, AEM UEGO, Pilot Supersports, etc. Great car and had a lot of fun, but realized I wanted to change things up and sold it to find the purchase of my Corvette.

The 1993 Xtracab I played with for about a year. Bought it bone stock with rotted fenders and a dented nose. New fenders, an ARB, roll bar and wheels/tires rounded out the cosmetic rebuild. Needed some suspension work to pass MA inspection and the timing chain guides failed so I sold it. Regret it but at the time had nowhere to work on it. I immediately started saving for a new Tacoma after I sold it.

The 2013 Tacoma that replaced the 1993. It's linked in my sig. I LOVED that truck. (Sigh)

The Ranger and the Taco have been my favorites. I had so much fun in the Ranger but I already know I'll have plenty of fun in the Taco. The '13 Focus has so far been the worst. I miss the MPGs but I don't miss the potentially catastrophic power steering issue that Ford refuses to fix.

My first car was a 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I loved it and would take it back in a second, likely because it was my first car. Sold it with 210,000 miles on it.

    DSC00005.jpg

Second car was a 2009 Mazda 3 SP23. Nice looking car, but I swear it was cursed. I couldn't get out of it fast enough.

    05_maz3-2.jpg

Third car is my 2006 WRX Limited. I bought it bone stock and it's still a work in progress. It's my baby and I'll likely never get rid of it.

    IMG_20160605_131324.jpg

After deciding to retire the WRX from daily duties, I bought a 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i. It served it's purpose, but cost me a lot of money in the long run in repairs. Pretty sure it was a lemon from the start. Got fed up with it and moved on to my Tacoma.

I picked up my truck two weeks ago today. I've wanted one for a while, but I never realized how much I'd enjoy driving it. I plan on running it into the ground and then some!

My love affair with Tacomas started with my 1997 Tacoma Regular Cab 4 cylinder M/T. Bed was Rhino lined and had an Extang soft tonneau cover. Blacked out taillight covers.image.jpgUnfortunately, she was traded in for a 2001 VW GTI 1.8 Turbo M/T. Too many speeding tickets.image.jpgEventually I came to my senses. For over 11 years I had this 2005 TRD OR Tacoma, A/T. She hauled all my toys from surfboards to snowboards to my 1999 Honda CBR600 to all manner of proper tailgating equipment.image.jpg Today, I have my 2016 TRD Sport DCSB M/T Tacoma. Plastidipped emblems, Linex'd front grill. I've still got a lot more to do too!

    I had a 2011 Jetta TDI20160416_215741.jpg
and this is the day I traded it in with 2 blown transmission seals. Yes that transmission fluid that ran all the way down the parking garage and puddled at the end.20160416_180733.jpg

99 Ranger, it was my first truck and bought new. I put about 185k on her before I bought the Tacoma. It was the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, a great truck. My buddy found himself without wheels so I gifted it too him so I still see it.

2001 Ford Ranger. Had it for 15 years, drove it gently, did all the routine maintenance, etc...

I loved it more than it loved me in the end. When it reached 147,000 miles it totally fell apart all at once. First truck I ever owned.

I traded it in for my Taco. Thought that would be the end of it but then it wound up on a used lot about 2 miles from my house. The dealer took 20 pictures of it, enough to let me know that little, if any repair work had been done. For instance puddles of coolant near the drivers side front wheel, etc...

One of the pics showed the windsheild and the fact that it had a failed state inspection sticker. I bailed out at the right time.

    Current is my 2014 dclb.
Before that a gen1 2001 dcsb bought new, put almost 200K mile on it.
Before that was a "gen 0" 1990 xtracab bought new - 200K miles on that also.
Before that a 1986 Hyundai Excel bought new right after they started selling them. Good little car, never gave me any problems. Put 86K miles on it over 4 years.
Before that the 1971 Pinto my dad bought used, that I used to get my license in '79 and drove all thru college.
Actually first learned to drive on my dad's 1965 F100 (bought new) that is still sitting at his place, though it hasn't moved under its own power in quite a few years. I think he still wants to get it running again - that truck has a lot of memories and adventures under its hood.
