Pull the plug. Pull it 10 times or so. Put plug on the plug wire and against the head and pull to check for spark.
Give it a shot of either with the oil additive included in the plug hole. Reinstall and try it.

Thanks will give that a shot Monday when the shoulder is less angry with me and see what happens. I didn't even get a cough out of it but hey it is 24 years old and has not had to visit the shop but once for carb reset before so lol it is a Stihl 024 AV. It has cut many cords , trees / limbs , 4x6's, old telephone poles etc so it owes me nothing. It is shower and some chemistry time debate the Scotch ....

I always start my stuff on ether the first go around in the spring.
Saves a bunch of pulling and lubes the cyl so there is no dry start.
Does it make a diff? Dono. But they start quick.

I love my 025 Stihl, big enough to do anything I want to tackle, small enough so it doesn't tackle me.

To be honest, tournaments don't do much for me. I fish to have fun. That's not fun. I've been asked a few times to join but I don't want to start hating the few things that I enjoy. Have to go in the rain, high winds, need a mega boat, mega electronics. We have shop tournament starting today. Any fresh water fish species largest fish gets a point. One guy is going now in the snowstorm to "get in the lead"....
    That's not fun to me.....

I have a fly rod I use once in a while. Maybe 30 min a season. I do it just to say I did it. Just like trout ..meeeeaaa....
Big ass bass, etc... Yea that's it..
I just like the spirit of the LM Bass. That's why I catch and release. I can catch it again next year or have a young kid pull one in and make his weekend.

I don't see doing tournaments either. These guys don't even look like they're having fun. And these guys are a pain in the ass. One jerk-hole keeps putting his "team" decals on our signs. When I catch him he'll be scraping f'n decals.

    True story.
Always keep a old throw Rod in my boat. Find one, fix it, save it.
Was fishing by one of the swimming areas that had good structure. Young boy saw me and yelled to his dad. Wow what a cool boat. I wanna go fishing dad. The father looks over and kinda looks down and I knew something was wrong. He said we didn't have the money for fishing.. By the looks of his car etc he wasn't lying. So I pulled in to shore and called the kid over. Father looked up and I smiled and waved.
I opened my Rod holder and pulled out a throw Rod and handed it to the boy. Had a minnow lure on it and fresh line. It was all set to go.
The kid was jumping up and down and screaming and the father didn't know what to say. I pulled out and just took off.

Went by about 30 min later at full speed and the kid was fishing and the father was waving.
Cost me about 15 min of work..... Had the line, had the lure. Caught that Rod about a month earlier about 100 yds away...

Will the kid remember this? I don't know.
    BUT I WILL.......

Hope the Weather cooperates soon @Tacoma Mike so you can put the Boat in the Water and Go Fishing, and Relax!! Try to hang in there!
Mike when cleaning the throttle body plate on the Tacoma V6 is ok to carefully push open the plate to clean around it like I did on my '04, or are there any precautionary steps that need to be Taken with this throttle body? Thanks in Advance.
