for me to pickup my Taco at the dealer :D it's a '17 TRDOR DBSB w MT. No packages other than tow. Magnetic gray. If you can't tell, I'm super excited. And the best news yet, it hit F status yesterday so I should have it in around two weeks.

I've been doing a lot of reading and I've made a list of what information I've gathered. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing anything?

    1. Have the dealer/myself check all fluids, particularly transmission fluid? I'll probably try to do this before leaving the dealership.
    2. Check that the u joints are properly greased once the truck is home
    3. Change the oil around the 1500 mile mark
    4. This one I'm unsure of. Should I change front, rear, and transmission fluids around the 10-15k mile mark? And if so, does that include flushing the transmission fluid or just changing it?
    5. Try not to spend more than 3k on all the upgrades I want ;)
    Thank you!

Why the oil change after 1500 miles?

Anybody know the torque specs on wheel spacers by any chance? And are the torqueing down the rims to them the same

Lol, you could say that. Probably overthinking everything, but I've never owned a new vehicle.

I'll post pics as soon as I get it.

When you decide what you want or checked on delivery day, tell them when your checklist is complete is when you sign on that dotted line. Also make sure you check the paint for any flaws before you leave with it. I've heard stories after a new owner leaves and discovers a paint issue after the fact the dealer is not quick to fix it. I don't know how true this is but I wouldn't take a chance

Yep don't sign until you inspect all paint. Look for difference in tone and shade from one body panel to the next. Look at the bed to make sure it's aligned and check the gaps between bed and cab as well as between bumper and bed. Make a checklist of stuff to look at before you get there and get dazzled and swept off your feet with new car smell. Also have them grease zerks on driveshaft (if any) and torque ubolts.

If you post here you're inherently asking for an opinion.

Actually this has happened to me more than once. I almost want to demand to wash the next vehicle we purchase myself prior to leaving the dealer lot. Happened to me with a Lexus, which they fixed, and again with this truck I noticed a 1" line on the truck bed that looked like decal residue, but it isn't.

Your post was totally random for this thread. Sometimes people post in the wrong thread. So I figured I'd quote you so you would see that.

Or maybe you thought this was the correct thread.

Or maybe this is extremely dry humor.
