When I priced it, the hardware will be well over $400 if you buy each piece individually.

No, just use a socket and a ratchet.

Thats what I have been doing. It just seems like they should have included a tool to keep in the truck.

You want them to include a 12mm socket? Toyota is a business, not a charity.

I actually spent just under $300 to get a majority of the parts I needed. You one of the discounted oem parts sites like Titus Will or sparks.

I am having the same issue. I bought the OEM cover from Toyota dealership and didn't come with hardware. So, I am assuming they don't provide any hardware with it. Where did you guy all the parts? How did you resolve this issue?

I bought them online from Titus Will Toyota. Amy discounted online parts dealer will work that's in your part of the country. Just order the parts you need with confidence. I will include images to make it easier for anyone to envision.IMG_1541.jpg IMG_1540.jpg IMG_1542.jpg IMG_1543.jpg IMG_1548.jpg IMG_1545.jpg IMG_1546.jpg IMG_1547.jpg

    So I put it there.

I see...do you know much all the hardware cost? It just sucks that they don't include the hardware and dealership didn't even tell me. I called the dealership and they were clueless on if hardware comes with it or have to be purchased separately.

$214.22 with the front seals w/o shipping. Front seals are $25.68 each. You would have to cut your own rails. Did they sell you the cover from another truck? If so that truck has all the hardware and cut rails you need. How much did they charge you for just the cover anyway?

Yeah. Seems like a good situation to call B.S. and return it, if purchased from dealer.

WOW! THAT FREAKING EXPENSIVE HARDWARE. I paid about $800 for the cover and it came in 3 boxes and I purchased it brand new from the dealership from where I purchased my truck. I will see if I can find it cheaper somewhere else.

You do realize they charge $650 from the port to install the cover brand new. You are better off returning it and trying to find someone selling it in your local area to trade rails and mounts with the cover. Much cheaper.

I paid $400 for my cover with bed rail swap from another Tacoma member. Why anyone would do anything else is beyond me
