the goal is to match the angles from the carrier bearing and the diff. shims might be needed or the cb drop might work. I had the cb drop in and had a vibration at about 45mph. so I took it out and measured the angles and put Sims under the axle and that solved my problems

Hm saw this thread and was thinking about adding spindles... I already got a 3inch lift from icon coilovers in the front but it doesn't feel complete.
How good are the maxtracs, any complaints or worries?

Well worth it. they are tough. I'd put them up against the best out there

I did. J66 10-leaf. They don't handle weight very well, but they weren't designed to. They ride very nice on and off-road. Perfect for a truck that's not constantly hauling and doesn't have 900# of shit in the bed at all times. I have loaded up ~800# in the bed a few times and it squats pretty bad, but still rode great.

Cool thanks. I'm also thinking about adding a new leaf pack, any quick suggestions while I look?

all depends on what you use your truck for. do you haul ass in the desert. light off roading, or haul weight a lot

The closest to offroading I've done lately was going like 35 over some speed bumps...
No but I'd like some decent ones for a little hauling and light offroading every once in a while.

Dakars are great if your on a budget. I am very pleased with them. but if you do go with them change out the front bushes for the same ones that the rears use. trust me the squeeking can get to you

I went allpro standars with Icon remote resi shocks. It soaks up big hits like butter. I can't believe that ~$600 (used) changed my truck so much. When I go camping there's about 400 lbs of gear in the bed & it squats maybe an inch. Dakar & AllPro are the 2 most popular on TW, other than the Dakar squeeks you won't hear many people talk bad about either of them.

Kinda off topic from the thread but how much of difference do the reservoirs make?
I was kinda clueless when buying my lift kit and just ordered the stage 3 icon kit awhile back. Only with the rear remote resis and not the front ones. Just curious..

mainly for cooling. shock oil can get hot really quick. keeping it cool will keep the shock working properly longer
