Plenty. Haven't made any yet, so the minimum is a made up number. 500 can easily turn into 800, just like series I. Nexusix is going to run the batch whenever we've decided the best goal has been reached.

OK. I may get out of hand again with ordering. But hey its for a good cause! I have 2 people wanting to buy 2 of the series 1 from me. Haven't figured out if I want to.
I handed out 18 @Rausch creek this weekend for everyone that showed up. They were very thankful. And thought it was awesome.

I'm still waiting on a final rendering before paying for series II. Sure there are others doing the same, please don't order based on pre-purchases :D

Do you need to know, or care?
I received mine in the mail yesterday, MUCH BETTER than I expected. The coins are top quality and nicely designed.

Now who's first on the list of a nice gift........???

Birch bark canoes are really hard to portage in the slick clay above a slowly melting frost but Canada Post has persevered. Luckily many good trails were open following the end of maple syrup season and some fresh maple sugar kept the men energized. Deer skin boots while waterproof with their seal blubber coating were starting to show signs of failure and their sheepskin liners were taking on water. In spite of this all they made the deliveries they were entrusted to carry. The Wolf Spirit kept the men safe.

I received my First Gen Challenge coin today and couldn’t be happier. One coin will be given to a good friend who has a 2nd gen and helped me in making my decision to go Taco. He is a pilot with a geologic survey company so the https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/where-has-your-tacoma-world-challenge-coin-been.481890/bn thread could end up with some wild destinations in the next year if he brings it with him. In the last few months he has been to India’s Taj Mahal, Malaysia, Thailand and many more locations. Would have been cool to get a pic of a TW coin in front of the Taj Mahal.

Big thanks to all involved in the whole process. It really is amazing that from initial idea to delivery it took an unbelievably short amount of time yet it looks like a design that has been many years in the refining process. I don’t think those involved take enough credit for what they have given the community. This is something that will be around forever and it will be a special point of pride for those who have the original 1st series coin.

There's only a Series 1 coin per 190 members, making this pretty rare. Good Luck!

    (152,053 TW members / 800 Series 1 coins = 1 coin per 191 members)

I mean, technically you're right. But how many truly active members are there, plus how many actually bought a coin (or 9)

100% of those who placed their order within the time allotted got a coin. The run was increased a few times (500 to 600 then 800 iirc) until the preorders slowed down.

I know some are disappointed they did not get a coin from series one. But this was not a for profit endeavor. As such it was made to order. I am sure if there is enough orders series II will blow the numbers of series one out of the water.

Which will in turn cause others to beg and plead with series II owner's because they (maybe not their fault) didn't get in on time for series II either, which will make my two series I worth a pretty penny to the right buyer. JK If you didn't get a series I, I'm sorry, because it is awesome, and I am sure Series II will be just as good. I was actually lucky because I had only ordered one at first but really wanted two, and Nex was nice enough to have a couple extra to ship out before the last call. I did though have to pay shipping again, $16 for two coins, but it was worth it. At this point, I may give out one of my two to a different car group for trade purposes, if not, good luck prying them out of my literally cold dead hands where ever I lay rest in the future  FYI, I have aspirations to be shot either into the stars or buried on another planet, so expect a hefty fee to retrieve them lol

True. Personally, I think the series two is terrible, but only because I don't enjoy the Japanese thing on the back. I think the only reason I'd pull the trigger would be to mount it somewhere with that side inward.

Series I was and always will be the original, but IMO series II takes the cake... It's the ultimate throwback for sure, original Toyota, and that's cool in itself. I had even made a suggestion to Nex about having them paint the inlay of Series II with Lemon Yellow, an original FJ-40 color for the ultimate, ultimate throwback coin lol Unfortunately he can't do it, but I'm going to see if I can get the color and paint it myself, ordered 3 already of Series II. Hopefully you find someone willing to sell a Series I, and hi local
