It's not the gate itself that hits the bumper it's actually just the hinge on the table. But I do still have to lift up a little.

I'd say they are not going to go change their cut design to remove their logo at this point.

I'll grab one in a bit. The gate drags on the top of the bumper slightly when closing it or opening it on the end where the handle and latch are.

I really like their stuff no doubt. If i can get some sort of discount why not. Im trying trying to say i deserve a discount only just saying it would be nice.

Your question alone indicates that you feel entitled. Wait until they run a promotion. Happens all the time on here. That's how I avoid paying full price.

Yeah they usually run a 10-20% discount on Black Friday or "Black November" as they did the discount all month long. They will usually have discount days here and there too. They had free shipping all last month. Just keep your eyes peeled. I don't think they will discount on top of a discount for non logo'd items. Don't think they'd even do that tbh. Just being realistic. It's not like coca cola will give you a discount for drinking a bottle with their logo. Lol

Interesting. It seems like either the assembly of the spindle isn't quite right or possibly not at a perfect 90° to the bumper. Just my best guess though. Could be a handful of things. Did you try messaging Satin, Tyler, or Mike @Socalduckslayer

I didn't yet. I assumed it was my error somehow. I may just put some tape or material down to not scratch the bumper for now. Wait to see what they say.

Makes sense for now. Is the spindle seal and the top bearing seated correctly?

It's a nice subtle logo on the skid that most people won't even see since it's practically underneath the truck once mounted. I'm happy they don't plaster their logo on everything like some companies.

Also you could find a company that doesn't cut their name out into the metal and uses a bolt on Logo.

Looks it to me. The gate is as far down on the spindle as it can go. And even on all sides. I put the seal And big bearing in the gate. Put it on. Then Dropped in the other bearing and washer. And torqued the nut. Do both bearings go the same way? It looked to me the bottom faces cone up and the top cone down given the inside of the gate. Even if it were upside down the gate is all the way down on the spindle.

I wonder if I torque the castle nut a little more it won't help. I was afraid to go to to tight. But I was still using a half inch drive long wrench

That assembly sounds correct to me. Were you able to get the codder pin through spindle?

Yep. I just put my wrench on and put another half a turn on it. It's pretty tight now. Still no change.

No idea. I'd say wait for one of the Pelfreybilt workers to respond. They'll be back online tomorrow I bet.

Double check that everything was put together in order. Never put one together but seems like something is missing. The gate should be raised up more not tightened down.
