    its funny, I have always wanted a black 2nd gen. Never even considered the Pyrite Mica, maybe because you don't see this color as much as the others. Any way, after searching 2nd gens on the www this one caught my eye and for good reasons. Very glad I went this color instead of black!

    Being freshly clean vs. with typical road filth on it can really make a difference. I explain it to people as a goldish iced coffee color.

    The picture below is about a week after I got mine and is somewhat the neutral color it has between it needing a bath and a week after getting one.

    When my Dad bought his Tacoma back in 2012, he was going to go with Black for his 3rd Black Toyota however he decided that it was time for a change. He hated Pyrite Mica and thought it looked like an old car and ended up with Spruce Mica he fell for.. When I got my Pyrite Mica he completely changed his tune on it before I told him thats the color I was hunting for.

    I love the rarity of this color comparably! Of course if they made a Maroon Tacoma in 2015 I probably would most likely have that instead.

    I agree with the little fine tiny scratches. I've only had a ding on the hood from an acorn which I had Paintless Dent Repaired out.
