I promise I searched, can't find it though. Is there a how-to for removing a cracked fog light assembly and installing a new one? Not just the bulb, but the entire assembly. 2nd Gen.

From some different online videos I think I might need to remove the screw with that white disc where the end of my thumb is to get the assembly out of the bumper. True?

    Thanks for your help!

No, that's the adjuster. See the post sticking out on the bottom left of the pic? There's one on each side that pops into holes in the bumper. Look underneath and you will see them on each side.

Ok, I see that. There are no screws holding the fog lamps in? Crazy! lol I looked under the bumper and see a plastic tab holding the assembly in place, so I guess it's just that and those two posts. Will work on it... maybe tomorrow, if I get a chance. Dark now. Thanks!

That video didn't help me much (he just says "there's a screw on the back and it pops out" and that's that), but thanks for trying. I went out to the garage and looked at it again. And this time I stuck my phone up by the light assembly and took some pics so I can see what I'm dealing with.
    IMG_2124.jpg

The place where the adjustment screw hooks in is solid, there's no way I can see that the light assembly is coming off without messing with the adjustment screw. I think maybe first you pop out those little "ears" on the sides (below, orange arrow, there's a second one on the opposite side) and then probably squeeze the little pop-out tabs on the black adjustment screw cap (purple arrow) and push it back through the hole.
    IMG_2132.PNG.jpg

I see there are several threads about it with incomplete answers, or answers that didn't seem very helpful (not that the person wasn't trying to help, but a pic is worth 1000 words, right?). So maybe if I figure this out without breaking down and asking a coworker for help, I'll do a write-up.

    Nice.

I had a GT Outpost back in the early 2000's. I think it's still in my parents shed.

Pushed the payload a bit. I do have the 4 spring leafs. 1100 pounds of travertine stone. 1.5 inches from the bump stop. Back to normal after unloading.
