What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The body shop tried everything they could to find the leak but they could never find it. It's a great shop.

 

Here are some changes during last month:

They don't sound that great.

Brother in law helped me get the lift on. Went smoothly aside from the weird 22mm rear ubolt nuts. Had to go get an open end 22mm wrench

How did you mount the magnet? Screws? Bolt and nut? Velcro? Clean install IMO.

 

Thanks! It comes with a couple of different mounting screw options depending on where you're going to put it but its just two screws and they hold it there nice and tight! I really love it!

Still wondering which 3rd gen I will end up with!!

 

I did not even consider a 4cyl, and decided it was time to switch to AT. Very happy with my truck, but last week during service, I had the chance to see 3 Tacoma's side by side- 4cyl with 5 speed MT (SR)

4cyl with 6 speed AT


6cyl with 6 speed MT
FWIW, would reconsider the SR with 5 speed MT, as I believe it would be the most "bullet proof"

 

Thats a no go for sure as I want a DCLB.

 

Got my kayak racks on today and adjusted to fit my kayaks. Looking forward to lots of fishing trips this year. Forgot to snap a pic with the yaks on. Thule racks with Yakima mako saddles and hully rollers.
