I just grabed the shoes/ brakes. Wasn't sure if I needed the parts replacement kit that they had, with all the springs and fancy items that apparently tend to break while replacing...

Get the spring kit and the drums too just in case the drums r too far out.

 

Ok. I'm usually off Sunday and Monday, so I'll grab the rest of the stuff tomorrow hopefully.

First attempt making a bed stiffener. Drill a couple more holes and paint then install.

I was thinking that too, but I wanted to play with my 20 ton press to see if I could match the angle. I got it dead on.

I dont know if its needed or not, i just felt like fabricating something for my truck and I haven't done any welding in a long time. I have a craftsman mig welder with flux core wire so its a little tricky to get the puddle to run. welding with one hand doesn't help either.

 

Anybody doing anything fun this weekend?
