I bought a 2008 Toyota Tacoma TRD with the side courtins deployed, but when I turn in the engine and start moving forward let say at 5mph the back tires lock and it wont move foward but it will move backwards.
Does someone have an idea what this is?

perhaps something having to do with the side curtain airbags being deployed? Or and ABS issue?

Is not replaced, but it laid on the left side. I would like to fix by replacing only the left fender and dont put a new air bags courting, can I bypass the sensor of the air bags? or some how to fix it.

Okay...So it laid on it's left side. Easy tip over on a trail or a ditch...or was it a tip over while driving on the roads??

Is the frame straight? Did the owner give you any alignment specs?? My guess is that the rear end is outta square and you are going to have issues with binding at speed until you get that fixed.

But honestly....That is a wild ass guess. It could be any number of things. Is the fluid in the rera diff full up?? Brakes adjusted right?? Rims good??

only thing you could do for the airbag would be to put a resistor in its place to trick the Airbag module into thinking it was still there...I don't know what size resistor to use.

"Good condition" like you eyeballed the frame and it looked good...or you get it looked at on a rack??? Cause a few inches one way or the other and your drive line will be all kinda FUBAR.

Problem with buying cars that are damaged- You might be lucky and not have any hidden problems....or you might.

    Best of luck.
