looking for a reachable and steady phone mount. Suggestions?

i just need to fit my iphone 7, i have seen some on Amazon where its plugged into the cigarette lighter but i haven't jumped on any yet, i want to find one that fits comfortably in my truck and still in my reach.

Hondo mount paired woth a round ram mount magnetic. Sticky thin magnet stuck to the hard side of my ottorbox works well through the outside rubber section and holds my phone great. Also able to pull off or put on with one hand.

Keep in mind, the Hondo mount won't let you rotate the vent freely. It can be positioned and tightened. You do have the ability to open and close the vent. For me, it might be a deal breaker. I looks like a nice product though.

 

Actually I cannot close the vent now. It is always open. There is like 2mm of adjust-ability... but I don't see that as an issue. I'm not sure I've ever closed a vent anyway.

Had this bad boy for about a year but I must have demagnetized at least 4-5 debit cards with it! It works great and saved my ass when I left in on top of the car one day on the way to work, 5mi later it was still there. Upgraded to the Hondo Garage and love it. Like someone else mentioned already, get the radio knobs too...it's all awesome shit!

 

Hondo Garage mounts are decent, (I have two for other electronics) but for a phone mount, ProClip USA is a million times better and is in a league of its own. Have been using their products for years (last four vehicles) and have never seen anything better.
