Each crossbar has t-slots in them so you can mount many things very securely. Plus you can attach Yakima and Thule mounts to them if desired.

Has anyone tried the brush on plasti dip to cover up the chrome badge in the steering wheel? I'm guessing it maybe hard to get nice even coats? Obviously using any kind of spray whether it be paint or plasti dip you'd have to mask off the whole interior and some exterior to avoid overspray and drift . Please excuse my plasti dip ignorance, but I've never used it before.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
No worries. Ya probably about the same time for me if I wasn't single now... Ya it will work out... divorce !! YA HOO !! lol.

It's an anti tailgate theft mod. You can find it under the cheap 3rd gen Mods & Tutorials thread.
