It was mounted horizontally for the forklift, yes. Pretty sure you can use it vertically, as well. Or so I've been told.

I think you need to change the valve for veritcal. Or I have to for horizontal with my tank. Easy to do though.

    Get it @Overlanerd

If it is too big I have a use for it.

I also have a second 6lb sitting in my garage. A lot of people have said they wanted it but no one has brought dough. 6lb makes a lot of tacos.

    Check out the build
You do need to change them or you run the risk of having liquid come out vs gas, which is bad.

Thanks Don. Too big for my rig. Horizontal mount on the front or inside a trailer would work well.

@jAndyMendo whattup with that 6 lb. tank? I have an 10" deep medical chest (not the one I had on the DV trip) that would be perfect for it...

Wire wheel, rattlecan gloss black, and this:

    https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Lift-FK-1-Jack-Fix-It-Kit/dp/B00042K37O

    Unless you're getting a 60"...

This drawer system worked pretty well in the 5' bed with the quick- release base.

Edit: if it hasn't had a lot of use, grease should work. Mine's 10 years old and brake cleaner and tri- flow always gets it going again.

    I did the same thing...

The 48" wouldn't even lift a tire off the ground on my pick up. (Using the slider as a lift point) My 60" barely does it but I usually chain the axle to the frame so I don't have to lift it so high.

Never even thought of jacking my truck to make sure the highlift will get the rear wheel in the air.
