Anyone ever go to the Hascom AFB Auto Skill Center? Seems like you can use their bays and tools to work on your vehicle! I knew there were places like this but I just assumed MA didn't have anything like that. I just did a little googling and came upon this:
    http://hanscomservices.com/AutoSkillsCenter.asp

Curious if anyone has been there and their experience. Or if you know of other places in the greater Boston area let me know!

You have no home team! You can only beg and borrow from NJ and NYC, or maybe Buffalo.

I'd be lying if I told you I hadn't thought about opening up a shop with this exact premise. Rent out a bay and tools hourly to work on your vehicle.

    Might be worth checking out!

Just found this on their site:

Our website, www.HanscomServices.com shows you all the facilities and the great programs they offer. Most 66th FSS programs, events and facilities* are open to DoD ID cardholders, including active duty, reservists, DoD civilians, NAF employees, base contractors, retirees and authorized family members according to AFI 34-262, "Services Programs and Use Eligibility." Some priority restrictions apply; please contact the facilities directly for details.

Force Support Squadron facilities are not open to the public. You must be a Department of Defense ID cardholder and have access to Hanscom Air Force Base in order to use our facilities (some have even further restrictions).

My brother belonged to one in San Francisco and it was awesome. He was building a custom chopper until he had to move for work.

Maybe I still count. I have not served, my dad did and I qualify for USAA insurance, but I don't know what the qualifications are.

Seems like we should move on this business idea! I have an MBA and work in finance and one of my good friends is a corporate lawyer so we could make it happen.

I saw them quite a few times in person. Once courtesy of 7up, and I sat next to the ref that pressed the button to signal a goal right behind the net.

Oh... I thought that was a trick question... I grew up north of Albany, closest thing we had to a home team was the Giants. They practiced in Albany so they had a presence there. Otherwise, it was pretty much take your pick between Buffalo, the 2 NJ teams and the Pats. Yankee fans in Albany were fair weather fans. When they were doing well, there was Yankee gear everywhere but when they were doing bad, you couldn't find a Yankee fan. That's mostly why I can't stand them to be honest.

Nope not here. I remember hearing about Reggie Jackson but then again who didn't back then. I moved there fall of 1979 and back to MA I think August-September 1980, I was 5-6 at that time
