only takes a day to get up here so should be doable.

No sweat. Goose is just one of those places that is super special...plus i don't think it'll remain open in our life time. Independence is cool though. Super easy in and out plus the hike in a day. Gotta get Pizza at Iron Star too..the Iron Star pizza is the best damn pizza i've ever had. Bourbon glazed onions, mushrooms and some bourbon glaze sauce..fucking amazing.

12th..hmmm..i have a gig then..be in Boise?

Maybe I should just use one if the doors then get a purple door from Brett and the bed to another color. Full Frankenstein haha

Glad i was late for that party almost..that shit is deep. haha i'd have been stuck the whole time haha

 

It was super deep. I fought pretty hard just to get to that point. I was able to back up but just couldn't get enough momentum to keep pushing forward, I just got as far as I could then Ty hooked up to me and we both pinned it to win it up to the top haha.

Derek in his FJ and Tim in his 4 runner didn't get so lucky. Derek buried himself where I was stuck, Timmy about slid off the hill. That's when we decided to call it a day and headed down lol.

Was a good time though as usual. Pissed off some ATV riders in the process, but well worth it.

 

Not like they were doing anything any different..ha

They really are. They were heading down when we were up at the top waiting on the other two rigs. They rode 50 feet past our turnout then stopped and started bitching to eachother, looking back at us because we defiled their precious ATV tracks. The best part was they couldn't even see the spot where I got stuck at- which was the only "torn up part". I'd have loved to see their faces when they came up on the waist deep snow trenches.

I can't wait for it to thaw, I'm itching for some rocks and trails. I'm sick of snow and mud.

 

Hey Scott! Welcome. I'm new to Jackson this year and would love to get out and do...everything we live here for! I have a Ducati 750ss so off road motorcycle camping is out for me, but I'd be down to take it as far as I can. As well as of course the taco and the mtn bike!

me too. Ready for some good ole mountain trails.

also i found an old jeep road past the Eaton ranch on accident..lady said the ranch let people through but you have to call ahead to ask for permission..thought that sounded cool.

 

I have heard of that trail. We drove out there one day to see how accessible it was but there was still quite a bit of snow. Might be a fun one to check out one of these days if we're feeling the itch.

 

Yea bet its cool. Looks short, but still. Long as we get permission, which i think is easy, i bet its fun. Was super pretty there. we were miss led to think there was hiking up there. We were wrong haha

 

Story has some cool little hiking spots. Nothing challenging but a fun little getaway.
