Nice. Yeah I had only put two bags in and it was being opened the whole day. I figure with full ice and staying closed it will last a good long time.

I was checking temps yesterday and said a high of about 92 one day I think.

I need to get non cold stuff tonight as well. Trying to decide if I want to get the cold stuff tomorrow night after work and then pack the cooler Wend before I head out or just get the cold stuff in Fort Stockton.

There is not a ton of stuff in ft Stockton, the last major spot out there is odessa. I think there may be a regular Walmart in fort Stockton but that's it.

Good to know. May look at buying what I need on Wed or tomorrow after work and then packing the cooler after work Wed real quick.

    I KNOW!

Hoping it is just this day or something. Already took some meds and drank some green tea with honey and lemon.

Kinda tempted to go home early today to just rest.

    Mostly stuff I built.
You guys go grab some gallon jugs of water and chunk them in the deep freezer. I use 2 in my 65 quart yeti and they last a good 5 days. Have been using the same 2 jugs for 5-6 years now. The clear plastic jugs with screw on tops like ozarka work best for this.

I keep four 12oz frozen water bottles in my Engel UC-19 drink cooler and they are good for about 3-4 days with bagged ice and drinks in there with them.

Block ice is the next best thing to a fridge imho.

If you are going to be running with bag ice in your food cooler leave the plug out so it will drain and your ice will last longer and keep from messing up any of your food.

I roll dry ice and a divider in the rtic, basically a portable freezer for a few days.

I've seen it at a few Tom Thumb stores. I used to get it from one when I lived in Dallas. The one closest to me doesn't, though. It was usually up near the entrance.
